Colonoscopy Package

A diagnostic, or screening procedure in which a flexible fiber-optic instrument is inserted through the anus to examine the colon. It is usually performed routinely for individuals above the age of 45 years, and if negative once every three years. If positive, the disease is to be managed. It is also performed in cases of chronic unexplained abdominal pain, rectal bleeding, chronic constipation, chronic diarrhea, and several intestinal symptoms.
